In addition to traditional counseling and talk therapy, strategies for transformation that take into account interactional aspects of the mind-body connection and energy and informational systems of the human being are also available:


Integrative Therapies and its practitioners adhere to the code of ethics and standards of practice of the counseling and mental health organizations of North Carolina. We also adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines regarding information and privacy. All information shared with our treating professionals is held in strict confidence with the exception of:

  1. When a client presents a clear and imminent danger to self or others,
  2. When abuse of a child (someone under the age of 18) or elderly person is suspected or known,
  3. When a court order demands that confidential information be revealed, or
  4. With written permission from the client

Counseling Staff: While there are many licensed and certified staff members at Integrative Therapies who provide stress management and bio-behavioral services, the practitioner who offers mental health counseling at our center is Katlin Hecox, LMFT, LMBT.
